For Buyers

Your first Boston home, in seven clear steps

The Massachusetts buying process has many moving parts — attorneys, inspections, purchase & sale agreements. My job is to make each step clear before you take it, so you're never signing anything you don't fully understand.

  1. 01

    Free consultation

We start with a conversation, not a contract. Your budget, your timeline, your must-haves — and an honest read on what they buy in today's Greater Boston market.

  2. 02

    Pre-approval

I connect you with trusted local lenders and help you understand what your numbers really mean — including programs for first-time buyers in Massachusetts, such as MassHousing and ONE Mortgage.

  3. 03

    The search

Curated showings that respect your time. I preview aggressively, flag the problems sellers won't mention, and tell you when a listing is overpriced — even when it's beautiful.

  4. 04

    The offer

Boston moves fast, but a good offer is strategy, not panic. Comparable sales, seller motivation, contingency planning — we build an offer that competes without overreaching.

  5. 05

    Inspection & negotiation

Old housing stock is part of Boston's charm and its risk. I attend your inspection, translate the report into real costs, and negotiate repairs or credits on your behalf.

  6. 06

    Closing day

From purchase & sale agreement to final walkthrough, I coordinate attorneys, lenders, and deadlines so nothing slips — and I'm beside you when you get the keys.

  7. 07

    After the keys

My service doesn't end at closing. Contractors, snow-removal rules, tax abatements, refinancing questions — I stay your resource for as long as you own the home.

Good to know

Buying here is different

Buyer representation costs clarity, not surprise

How buyer's agents are compensated is agreed in writing before we begin — I'll walk you through exactly how it works in Massachusetts before you commit to anything.

Old homes need experienced eyes

Much of Greater Boston's housing was built before 1940. Knob-and-tube wiring, lead paint, aging roofs — I help you see past fresh paint to what a home will actually cost to own.

Timing beats guessing

Inventory, rates, and competition shift by season and by neighborhood. We'll time your search to the conditions — not to headlines.

Ready for step one?

The consultation is free, the advice is honest, and there is zero obligation to continue. Worst case, you leave with a clearer picture of your options.
